Atwater Beer Buzz March 26

Greetings!  A quick, early update from the snowy, arctic…but sunny… world of Vail!

The Craft Brewers Conference is being held in Washington DC this week, and I know many of you will be there in spirit if not in fact. Those of you who are holding down the fort here will certainly be doing so in fine form on Wednesday, however. Tom Jasko will be coming up to show several beers from his international portfolio for the Wednesday Craft Beer Tasting from 4:30 – 6:30 in the Fireside Bar. You can look forward to Lindemans Framboise, Sam Smith’s Chocolate Stout, Ayinger Brau Weisse, Sam Smith Apricot, and Rochefort 10. Matt Wirtz, Brewmaster for Bonfire Brewing Co., brought several of their new brews to share with our crowd last week, and everyone celebrated Colorado Craft Beer Week in style!

March Madness has hit the Cascade, so enjoy $5 drafts until April 7th!

I also have the Boulder Beer Brewmaster’s Weekend Small Plates & Craft Beer Pairing menu ready to share, so wanted to get that out asap. Reservations are going quickly, so please grab your seats right away to be sure not to miss it!  Here’s the menu for your convenience, and I’ve also attached the full flyer for you. Remember that the traditional schedule is reversed this time: the Pairing event will be on Friday night and the Meet the Brewmaster tasting will be on Saturday. We’re looking forward to hosting David Zuckerman and showcasing beers from the first Colorado craft brewery!
