Vail Cascade's $30 Million Dollar Renovation Continues

Vail Cascade's $30 million renovation continues with extensive work throughout the hotel. Crews will begin re-installing pavers in property's porte cochere, and roof trail repairs will begin this week. The hotel's Main Lobby Entrance has been relocated to accommodate guest and visitor traffic. The courtyard will re-open on schedule in mid-November.

On the creek side of the property, crews have been pouring hard surfaces, and construction of the stone wall and in the Terrace Spa area continues.

Construction on the resort's new restaurant, Atwater on Gore Creek, is underway and will be on-going for the next two months. The property's Mountainview meeting room is scheduled for remodeling during November, and the new library deck surface should be complete next week.

In the spa, the men's locker room renovation is on schedule for completion the week of November 18.

Air conditioning installation continues in all hotel guest rooms.

Completion of the Vail Cascade transformation is scheduled for December 2008. The new look will include a remodeled and updated porte cochere, a new pool, hot tub and deck - complete with outdoor firepit - overlooking Gore Creek and Vail Mountain, a new cafè serving grab-and-go meals and Starbucks® beverages, a new restaurant concept and an update for the Fireside Bar, and additional meeting space bringing the resort's total to over 45,000 square feet.

Located on the banks of Gore Creek, Vail Cascade is the only AAA Four-Diamond rated ski-in/ski-out resort in Vail. The 292-room creek side property offers 27 suites, more than 80 spacious condominiums and private homes to choose from. The Vail Cascade also features the 78,000-square-foot Aria Spa & Club.
