SHAPE UP FOR SKI SEASON IN VAIL
Vail Cascade Offers Special Ski Conditioning Weekends in November
VAIL, Colo. – Sept.– As the winter season approaches, skier and snowboarders have an opportunity to shape up at altitude in the backyard of the largest single-mountain ski resort in North America as the Vail Cascade, managed by Destination Hotels & Resorts, offers two special Ski Conditioning Boot Camp weekends in November.
During the weekends of Nov. 6-8 and Nov. 13-15, 2009, skiers and riders can shape up for the season with the resort’s Ski Conditioning Boot Camp lodging package starting at $99 per night. The offer includes a one-night hotel stay, access to Aria Spa & Club, admission to unlimited ski conditioning and athletic yoga classes at Aria, and continental breakfast. Guests can also enjoy 40 percent off of treatments at Aria Spa; the ideal remedy for soothing newly relocated ski and snowboard muscles.
During these two special weekends, Aria Club is adding six ski- and snowboard-specific conditioning classes, four ski conditioning classes and two athletic yoga classes to an already packed schedule of training opportunities.
“Vail Cascade’s Aria Club has become known locally as the best place to get in shape for the season,” said Dan Timm, general manager of Aria Spa & Club. “Our ski conditioning classes have become legendary. We wanted to open these classes and our expertise to anyone interested in fine-tuning their training technique to maximize time on the mountain this winter.”
Aria Club is the fitness facility of choice for Vail Valley residents, visiting guests and professional athletes. In addition to an extensive list of athletic pursuits, including high-tech machines, an indoor running track, tennis courts, racquetball and squash courts, a basketball gymnasium, an outdoor swimming pool, and a calendar full of unique classes, the Club’s training staff sets this gem apart.
“The Ski Conditioning Boot Camp package is ideally timed for those hoping to be physically ready for opening day at Vail Mountain on November 20,” added Timm.
In addition, Aria Spa is offering 40 percent off all spa services (excluding Songs of the Mountains packages and waxing) and 20 percent off all nail services from Sept. 16 through Nov. 15, 2009. Aria is recognized locally and nationally as one of the top spas in the Vail Valley and in Colorado.
